Kundalini Series with Isabel: Journey to the Temple of the Self

Temple 1 - Pranayama - Kundalini Dance practice to ignite the flame of purification.  

In kundalini yoga we ignite the breath to cleanse and purify our internal landscape and invite deeper regulation.

This process will be a deep relaxation and realignment as with your sympathetic nervous system.

Temple 2 - Movement - Kundalini Yoga

Subconscious cleanse of unknown fears = Release.

It is impossible to relax when we are in a state of fear. Most of our fears are caused by the belief that we are separate, separate from others, separate from self, separate from our creator, separate from our dreams, separate from all that we want in life. At the root we are fearful of losing what we have now or not getting what we want in the future. Even with hopeful and positive intentions the fears can easily hide out in our subconscious and creep up unexpectedly. When we aren't able to identify and process this fear, it leads to stress and an onslaught of other emotions as well as physical side effects. Thanks to kundalini yoga, it invites our attention to the body, which brings you to a state of calm where you can achieve God's light and feel a deep sense of success.

Give yourself this gift, release your fears and relish in the resulting relaxation and inner balance.

Fear is held in different parts and organs of our bodies. We must stimulate/activate these parts of us for a deep clean and re-alignment.

When considering fear and how it manifests in the body, mind and spirit, think of an energy that is closed off – separate from and disconnected from all that is around us. As fear is often a protective force in our lives, this type of reaction makes sense. However, if we choose to focus, either consciously or unconsciously, on our fearful and limiting thoughts, we step further and further away from trusting our connection to the boundless and Infinite part of who we are. Instead, we start to believe the “story” our minds tell us about what is unfolding in our lives and our emotions start to become lodged in our physical body. When this happens, we can move from a state of restriction and fear into an expansive, empowering, restful and peacefulness.

Temple 3 - Meditation Kundalini Yoga 

Cultivating the essence of change.

The law of the Universe is changing. Everything changes. However, the ego will not let you change easily. You change but your ego does not let you see your own maturity or potential. It blocks communication.

This creates a condition of constant hassle in the mind. The difference between your reality and your perception of it through the ego creates doubts, and doubts create misery. Doubt steals three feet of your auric radiance.

To come out of the darkness, you must assess yourself. Ultimately, to be happy through all change and to have the full radiance of your soul, there must be surrender of your self to your higher self.

To aid the process of self-evaluation and to probe the ego to change and unblock subconscious communication, practice this meditation each day

Temple 4 - Mantra ~ Meditation ~ Frequency

Mantra is a key component used in Kundalini Yoga and it is used to alter patterns of the mind on a physical and energetic level. Mantras are the vibrational manifestation of its meaning. The sound vibrations of mantras have the ability to elevate or alter consciousness through their meaning and rhythmical repetition. By chanting/singing a mantra, we invoke the positive vibrations of the mantra and broadcast it into our energetic field. The repetition of the sound and the words of the mantra will amplify its meaning in our physical and energetic life. It will almost immediately shift the way you feel regardless if it was letting out your emotions, letting go, reaffirming your self-worth, transmuting your fears to love, etc. As Kundalini mantras are usually sung in a song version, the melody and beat of the music assists in its vibrational manifestation and purpose.

All the mantras typically used in Kundalini Yoga are in Gurmukhi, a sacred Indian language, and occasionally, in English. Whenever you feel wayside about life or yourself, you can always tap into the power of mantras to re-ground and rewire your subconscious and strengthen your resilience in any difficulties that may come your way.

By vibrating in rhythm with the breath to a particular sound that is proportional to the creative sound, or sound current, one can expand one’s sensitivity to the entire spectrum of vibration. In other words, as you vibrate, the universe vibrates with you.

In Kundalini Yoga, there is a powerful mantra for healing. The way that it heals is to tune a soul to the vibration of the Universe, which is pure and without disease or pain.

Called the Siri Gaitri Mantra, it holds within it eight sounds that stimulate the Kundalini flow within the central channel of the spine for healing. It brings balance into the core of our energetic body and floods it with new energy.

Imagine a prism catching the light of the sun and refracting it out into a rainbow. This mantra does something similar with the healing energy of the Universe. It grabs onto the healing elixir of the Divine and allows you to steer it into a particular direction…either into yourself, into another person, the whole planet, or anything on which you focus your intention.
