Marisha is an E-RYT 500 certified instructor with over 5000 hours of teaching experience worldwide at Yoga Studios, Events, Gyms, Conventions, Apartment Complexes, Senior Homes, Rehab Centers, and the NFL Combine Training. She has been practicing yoga regularly in 2011 and taught full-time from 2015-2020. Since Covid she teaches part time alongside working as a Stretch Practitioner. She studied Communications and Musical Theater at Vanguard University of Southern California and in addition to her 200 and 300 hour certifications has completed trainings in Yin Yoga, Yoga Sculpt, Yogalates, Hot Yoga, Pre-natal Yoga, Kids Yoga, Chair Yoga, Assisted Stretching, Ayurveda and studied under some of the great Yoga Masters in Bangalore, India, where she grew up. She is currently completing her NASM-CPT certification. She believes that Yoga is not just a “work-out,” it’s a “work-in” and that intentions and mindfulness are an important part of the yoga practice. Her classes are rooted in inspirational themes and she hopes that everyone who enters her classroom will experience love, breath work, stretching, a challenge, as well as mind, body and spirit healing. She is known for incorporating her singing and instruments into her classes!
